For the second time this month The New York Times website has gone offline. The website went down at 7pm on Tuesday having already been down previously this month on the 14th.
A group supporting Syrian president Bashar al-Assad are said to be behind the attack.
It took more than 3 hours to get a partial version of the site back online.
This is yet another in a series of attacks from the same group, who have also recently targeted CNN, Time Magazine and the Washington Post.
